Get to Know Trusted Tails!

I’m Kate — founder of Trusted Tails Pet Care, lifelong animal lover, behaviour nerd, and proud servant to every furry (and occasionally feathery or scaly) companion who’s crossed my path.

Trusted Tails started as more than just a business — it’s a passion project, born from a deep love for animals and a belief that pet care should be personal, not just professional. I didn’t set out just to walk dogs or feed cats — I wanted to create a service where every pet feels truly seen, safe, and loved in the comfort of their own home.

I’m based in South Gloucestershire and offer solo dog walking, drop-in visits, and long-term pet sitting in Hanham and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re off on holiday, caught up at work, or simply need an extra pair of hands (or paws!), I’m here to help — always with a kind, calm, and tailored approach that keeps pets happy and relaxed in their own space.

I’m fully insured, DBS checked, pet first aid trained, and currently working towards formal pet sitting qualifications — because your pet deserves the best. I take time to understand every animal’s personality, routine, and little quirks, because no two pets are ever the same (and that’s half the fun!).

People often say it feels like they’re leaving their pet with a friend — not just a sitter. I keep in touch with regular updates, silly photos, and honest feedback so you always know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Trusted Tails is a one-woman show for now, but the dream is bigger — one day I hope to expand into training and behaviour support across the South West (maybe even beyond!). Whatever direction it goes, one thing will never change: this is a service built on trust, compassion, and genuine love for animals.

Animals have been part of my story from day one — now, I’d love to be part of yours.

Because every tail tells a story.
Let’s make it a magical one. 🐾
